Mystic Oysters have a distinctively “round” shape and their raised “ribs” give them a distinctive scalloped appearance.
Mystic Oysters tend to run on that larger side. A typical 100-count bag contains oysters that average 3 to 4 inches in length.
Mystic Oysters are grown locally here in New England and come direct to you from the grower.
The meat in a Mystic Oyster is plump, creamy,
and fills the cup. The flavor tends toward the sweet side with
average salinity and a mild metallic finish.
